3D2N Melaka Foodie Trip Itinerary 2015

An impromptu but short and sweet Foodie & Sightseeing getaway to Melaka over the weekend (Fri to Sun). I'm sharing this itinerary for whoever needs a reference for their trip planning. This trip includes visits to major tourist attractions/activities, and also popular makan places in this historical township.

Mode of transportation - 2 ways Coach transfer by WTS
Accommodation (2 nights) - Courtyard @Heeren Boutique Hotel (Jonker area)

Day 1
Depart from SG Flyer at 8am
Reached Melaka ~1.20pm - check in hotel, short rest & take pics of hotel surroundings
2.30pm - Late lunch at Jonker 88 - Laksa, Ngoh hiang, Rojak & Cendol
3.30pm - Jalan jalan along Jonker street
- The Orangutan House buy T-shirt
- San Shu Gong buy Local produce
- Taste better buy Durian puffs

5pm - back to hotel to rest
7pm - Jonker Street Night market walk walk
9pm - Dinner at Far East Cafe - Peranakan food

Day 2 
Breakfast at hotel
9am - Explore Historical sights across the river (UNESCO Heritage sites)
- St. Francis Xavier church
- Stadthuys
- Clock Tower 1886
- Christ church
- St. Paul's hill
- A'Farmosa fort
12pm - Tea break at Nadeje Mahkota Parade - Mille Crepes
1.30pm - Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum

2.10pm - back to hotel rest
3.45pm - depart to Capitol Satay Celup
5.30pm - Eng Chee Seng buy Tau Sar Piah
8.30pm - Melaka river cruise
9.30pm - Jonker Street Night market walk walk

Day 3
8.30am - Low Yong Moh Restaurant 荣茂茶室 old school Dim Sum breakfast
9.30am - Cheng Hoong Teng Temple 青雲亭廟 (UNESCO Heritage site)
10.00am - East & West Rendezvous buy Nyonya Rice Dumplings
12pm - Check out hotel, leave bags at hotel

12.45pm - Lunch at Tua Kor Wantan Mee 大姑雲吞麵 old school noodles
2.00pm - proceed to Casa Del Rio for coach pick up, depart Melaka
